Each week, we’ll pose a question or a poll, an image or a graphic, to which we’d like your answers or opinions. We’ll post a link to the question or poll on Twitter, too, so you can choose to post your response either here (on Substack) or there (on Twitter).
This week, #TheLoopWantsToKnow:
Q: If you currently live in Downtown Kansas City, what year did you first move to the urban core (assuming you didn’t grow up Downtown)? And from where did you move?
I’ll answer first: I moved Downtown in 1989, but haven’t lived Downtown all these years. I lived outside Downtown after 1994, returning in 2011.
In 1989, I moved from the Northland, where I grew up. (Well, technically, I moved from Columbia, Mo., to that first Quality Hill apartment.)
